The Durham Museum801 South 10th Street Omaha, NE 68108
Union Station opened its doors to the public on January 15, 1931, as one of the finest of Art Deco architecture in the United States. This magnificent facility served millions of rail travelers and was well-known for its “modern” amenities and lavish style. Today, Union Station serves as the home of The Durham Museum, and its grandeur has not diminished with time. In fact, this building shines brighter than ever and continues to welcome visitors from around the globe.
Beautiful architecture blends with memories of a time gone by at The Durham Museum. Making its home in one of Omaha’s most unique treasures, Union Station, The Durham Museum offers a fascinating look at the history of the region and offers a broad-range of traveling exhibits covering subjects ranging from history and culture, to science, industry and more through our affiliation with the Smithsonian Institution and strong ties with the Library of Congress, National Archives and the Field Museum.
